My Paper Plane Is Better
Privacy Policy
Effective 18 August 2026 · operator details updated 6 September 2026
Who we are
My Paper Plane Is Better (the "Game") is developed and operated by MB „Faxcorp“ (company code 308119319, Europos pr. 34-47, LT-46370 Kaunas, Lithuania), trading as FAXCORP ("we", "us"). Full company details: faxcorp.dev/company/. Contact: privacy@faxcorp.dev.
What we collect
The Game is built around sharing tracks and times with other players. To do that we process:
- Account identity - when you sign in with your Epic Games account we receive your Epic account ID and display name (via Epic Online Services). We do not receive your email address or password.
- Tracks you create - the flight path (a series of positions in the game world), the hoops you place, the launch speed, the track name and the time your flight took. Tracks are published publicly under your display name when you finish recording them.
- Race results - your finishing times per track and a "ghost" recording of your best run (positions and rotations of your plane over time). Times and ghosts appear on public leaderboards and are replayed to other players racing the same track.
- Technical data - standard server logs (IP address, timestamps, request details) kept briefly for security and debugging.
We do not collect payment information, precise location or contacts, and the Game contains no advertising or analytics SDKs.
Why we process it
- To run the core features of the Game - sharing tracks, leaderboards and ghosts (performance of the service you asked for).
- To keep the service secure and prevent abuse (our legitimate interest).
Where it is stored and who sees it
- Tracks, times and ghosts are stored on Cloudflare infrastructure and are visible to all players of the Game.
- Sign-in is handled by Epic Games (Epic Online Services). Epic's privacy policy applies to your Epic account.
- We do not sell your data and do not share it with anyone else, except where required by law.
How long we keep it
Published tracks, leaderboard times and ghosts are kept for as long as the Game's online service operates, or until you ask us to remove them. Server logs are kept for a short period (typically under 30 days).
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete the data associated with your account, including removing your published tracks, times and ghosts. Email privacy@faxcorp.dev and tell us your Epic display name. If you are in the EU/EEA you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Children
The Game is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will also be announced in the Game.
